3D Printing
3D Modeling & Printing
When doing the knight piece, I started with the base. The first mistake that I made was not closing the top part of the base, causing it to not close on the top. I eventually found out how to close up the base. I also noted that it was important to trim the excess to order to offset the sketch. Another point I noted was that, for the sketch to revolve, the sketch must be closed and not opened. |
This was my reference photo, accompanied by my chess piece getting 3D printed.
The second mistake I made was to not add a manual support on Cura. Because of this, when printing the head of the horse, there is no support causing it to not stay in place. With this in mind, I will research more on how to apply a manual support so this does not happen in the future.
